         Injection moulding machine is used to mould plastics into desired product. The product can be of any shape and size. Injection moulding machine can be of two types Vertical moulding machine and horizontal moulding machine. Most machines are of Horizontal Moulding Machine.

A injection moulding machine is divided into two parts injection unit and clamping unit.



Three major Phases of Injection moulding are:
  1. Product Design.
  2. Mould Design.
  3. Manufacturing Process.

Mould

Typical material used for the manufacturing of the mould is Steel and Aluminium .The mould can be split into two halves.
